I'm usually the most critical person on this forum but what the hell do his speech and mannerisms have to do with his underlying message? I'll be the first to say that he made everything not only simple, but he drilled it into my head and it woke my ass up. He may not be the most articulate guy out there but he's one hell of a motivational speaker.

I must admit though, after the first video, I went and set my alarm clock earlier....

Sleep is key to being more capable at doing things, when you wake up first thing in the morning you're more equipped to work better.

What the hell are you talking about now? If you're going to pull out that card, realize that not only am I vastly superior to you in terms of intelligence, but I'm also in law school. What you said makes no sense. His message rings true for everybody.

i kind of disagreed half the time on this video, although it was very motivational.

the underwater analogy was a little far fetched, you have to want it, but its not life or death

The no sleep idea, although sounds great, is bologna. Byonce didnt sleep because she was either on appetite depressants or concerta to keep her focused and going. Sleep is KEY for your brain to learn and perform in many many ways wiki it.

Sacrifices make sense, especially ones that cause you to be lazy or procrastinate.

But it is true, almost all of us are completely SPOILED and need and adjustment.

I sleep like a mutherfucker, since i was a baby, 10 hours on average, prefer 12. Have plenty of distractions, very procrastinate yet have become more successful then anyone in my family or friends combined. I think it just comes down your your god given IQ and life choices

IQ is only one part of the equation. Mine's in the 140s yet I'm nowhere near as successful(financially) as most of you because of my laziness and uncertainty in what I want to do. I don't think you need to take this guy's examples literally because it's the underlying message. You do what you have to do to be successful. It also means that you do it within reasonable limits, as well as physical limits. IF you can sleep 4 hours a night for a few nights to get on top of things, take a 5th night to sleep 14 hours. It's all about not overdoing it.

Not true. During the aim2aol days, I used to pull all nighters when the filters changed. I just slept 5-6 hours more the next day and I was ok.

A little bit of sleep deprivation makes it easier to tune out everything but what you're focused on, kinda like getting high or doing some roxies
