are better because they dont melt when ironing, they dont bend as easily. overall are much more durable than the plastic collar stays that come with your clothing. rather than changing out your collar stays every few months, replace them with stainless steel collar stays and you will never have to worry about them again.

i agree these are much better than the plastic collar stays that come with your clothes when you buy them unless you're buying high end clothing of course which would usually come with stainless steel collar stays

however if you are looking for additional weight rather than collar straightness i recommend gold collar stays as they are heavier though are easier to bend.

also if you cannot find collar stays and you need them RIGHT NOW you can use large paperclips which will work well if you need them right then and there for emergency status.

I prefer plastic stays because of their flexibility.

Actually, I've never even thought about collar stays until now. Most of my shirts seem to have them, and I didn't know what they were until now.

Trust me the flexibility is not something you look for in a collar stay. A tight straight collar shows that you care very much about your appearance and the vibe you give off to others. Investing in stainless steel collars stays might be one of the smartest things a well dressed man does for his wardrobe.

Oh, I know that IT is mostly foreign H1B workers now, if not directly outsourced.
