But I also wasn't sitting there "h4x0r1ng" aol and being "reetz0r to the jeetz0r" like this kid intended... No, he won't have a job at a security firm. Not for that. What he did was ignorant, and to be honest? I think his charges should be dismissed due to his mentality alone. He clearly stated that the reason for it was AOL deleting his accounts... He very obviously lacks the mental capacity to even understand what he really did. JTM was like that in a sense... He never could tell right from wrong, really. To him, there was no right or wrong, just a way to get in or no way to get in.

It kinda reminds me of Alan in a sense... He did what he did simply because it was there and he could. That being said, the mental capacity to understand the severity of the crime is clearly lacking, which makes the case unprosecutable in a sense. They have to prove intent beyond a reasonable doubt, and they also have to prove that the individual is NOT lacking the mental capability to TRULY 100% understand and know that what he did is wrong. That would make for a wonderful defense if played right. Notice you never see hackers fight their charges, ever... They always take plea bargains. Well, I fought my charges, and out of 3 indictments, I have ZERO convictions... Why?

One other important tid bit of information for any of you that ever end up in that situation of having an agent in your face asking you questions.... They tend to tell you they know about this and they know about that, but they want to hear it from you and they want a confession.... If they knew already, and had enough proof to convict you with no doubts? They woudln't be drilling you for the information, now, would they? Think of it as you just finding pictures of your girlfriend sucking your brothers cock... That's proof. Solid evidence that obviously isn't forged... Are you going to interrogate her about it? Once he had root to some AOL boxes he created some BNCs and tunnels for him to join his own PC to the AOL intranet and bam he had CRIS access because he was on the "LAN". A few months after he was arrested me and The Knight created and sent out a trojen to let us reverse tunnel our packets through the LAN to get CRIS access, then I told the whole world about the method and in early 2000 everyone started using it or variants.

O0o, Excuse me for interrupting you while you were sleeping. I didn't want to get technical and explain the whole method. I saw you post, And realized you knew Alan aswell. And i was wondering if you still talk to him. The last time i spoke to him was a few years back. He was on the screen name "bloodninja". When he was released from prison he received 400 bucks. He bought a computer with it, Even though he was not allowed to use a computer. Shortly after he disapeared. And i was wondering if you still talk to him. Maybe you could have him send me an IM?
