View Full Version : How to make a quick buck..
For awhile now I have tried various methods to make a remedial amount of cash via the internets.
I've been successful a few times, but nothing consistent.
I'm in interested in becoming the next Gates, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on this?
Thanks, br0es

if you want a cheap and easy setup that if worked correctly could yeild you vast amounts of cash, look into setting up about 100 blogs of various subjects, learn about auto blogging plugins, and adsense.
You get 100 sites making 1 dollar a day in adsense, thats 100 bucks a day, thats just one idea.

its not quick, but its easy and gives the general idea of how to make good money online and offline. (find a way to make even just $1/day or $10, $100 ect, and repeat strategy)
wait how do you make 100 blogs and maintain them easily?

Running scams on the internet is a short money hustle IMO. I don't think that way anymore honestly. I want something I can build on and keep as well as be legal.
I don't want to be thinking of new ideas to make money on the internet every week cause my old idea no longer works. I rather invest my time now developing legal hustles so after a month or 2 its pretty much set it and forget it.
You then have a money stream constantly coming in you can count on w/o worrying when someone will patch the whole, etc.
Thats just my opinion, it's what works for me, not hating on anyone else, cause lord knows people make money not doing it my way.
As far as turn around time. Any person who has a server running Cpanel, knowledge of basic unix, can setup 100 blogs in 1 day using
http://mu.wordpress.org/
Get yourself a nice domain that you make 100 subs off of like
honda.blogerz.com
xbox.blogerz.com
Then look into a plugin called "wp-autoblog" which you can set to scrape RSS feeds of other sites. It will auto create content like such:
http://myxbox360blog.info
Then use a blog submitting tool to submit to aggregators, wait around a 1week to a month depending on how busy the aggregators are and you will start to see traffic.
Before you know it, you'll have a blog network that brings in 2-3k a month w/o almost 0 work other then creating new blogs every week to keep bumping up your margin.

yeah it sounds like something thats been happening forever
but yeah, 2 - 3k in a month for a high school student aint bad ;)

The Million Dollar Homepage is a website conceived by Alex Tew, a then 21-year-old student from Cricklade, Wiltshire, England to help raise money for his university education. Launched on August 26, 2005, the website is said to have generated a gross income of $1,037,100 USD and has a current Google PageRank of 6. The site's Alexa ranking as of 2008-02-22 is 45,336, having peaked at around 127.[1]
The index page of the site consists of a 1000×1000 pixel grid (one million pixels), on which image-based links were sold for US $1 per pixel, in minimum ten by ten blocks. The purchasers of these pixel blocks provided tiny images to be displayed on them, a URL to which they were linked, and a slogan displayed when hovering the cursor over the link. The aim of the site was to sell all of the pixels in the image, thus generating one million dollars of income for the creator.
On January 1, 2006, the final 1,000 pixels left were put up for auction on eBay.[2] The auction closed on January 11 with a winning bid of $38,100.00, bringing the final tally to $1,037,100 USD in gross income.

adsence for the fail.
With adsence you have really limited control of what kinda ad's are displyed
example:
you write a blog up about rint tone scams ... you will get ad sence results for people slangin those same scams you are writing about
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/02/22/eveningnews/main3867197.shtml
look at the adsence block they have ... offering up ringtones that are pretty much a scam .

You can block certain advertisers in adsense though, so your competition won't appear.

You can also buy traffic sites like AdEngage. $50 adult traffic gets you about 1600 clicks, 50$ regular gets you 900 clicks.

The rewrite engine for that seems really elementary (search and replace). I'm talking about an engine that takes in the article, extracts the information, and rewrites it in different words.

I've wanted to set up a simple site that just basically has links to news, blogs, and other sites related to loss of freedoms, Big Government, and other things of that nature with just basic blogs from my end.

will do, so far 1 month in the first 10 sites brought 8$ yesterday adsense. I'm excited if I ran like 200 blogs had this kid update 5 times a week each one, 1$ per blog = 200$ per day and in just 2 months =/ though its not steady atm 8$ so once there is a shit load of updates and time goes by. I think this is a worthy legit hustle. Problem is you gotta be dedicated.

No not even close, those 2 sites were just an experiment, then i got distracted with zigcam stuff, and right now zigcam is taking up all my time.

I think we're gonna go the route of subdomains. I see what you've done thar with different domains and IP's. Might lower your radar cross section on search engines, interesting.
so lets say i create about 100 subdomains, and i do this whole autoblogging thing.
A couple things:
1) Would I need to use something other than AdBrite?
2) Do I need to have my own server, or is it possible to use a shared host that has unlimited subdomains and unlimited MySQL databases?
3) How much is an actually realistic income?
enerbrat
03-06-2008, 04:57 PM
Yeah, thats why you use adbrite or other networks like that.
i used adbrite for a hip hop site i was playin with and i got NO contextual advertising whatsoever. what topics or w/e have good contextual ads with adbrite?
so lets say i create about 100 subdomains, and i do this whole autoblogging thing.
A couple things:
1) Would I need to use something other than AdBrite?
2) Do I need to have my own server, or is it possible to use a shared host that has unlimited subdomains and unlimited MySQL databases?
3) How much is an actually realistic income?
i really should not be giving advice out about this because I am horribly inexperienced, but...
1. made2own has an unlimited domain hosting option for $5 a month
2. Don't see why you couldn't use the same mysql database and just use separate tables for each operation.
1) I dont need that, i just dont want to buy a bunch of domains
2) Its just easier to create databases from my cpanel imo
woops, when i said do i need to use something other than adbrite i meant do i need to use something other than adsense

the only thing i've learned here
is that if it was easy, then everyone would be doing it.
Everyone can't do it. People here are a hell of alot smarter than those dicks getting their myspaces phished. We (excluding me) have talent. Something that other people don't.
It still requires hard work though.
