maps and dirty money

i dont care to much about maps personally but what about other borderline or completely illegal methods of making money? idk how many of you ACTUALLY do that kinda stuff but what do you do? and driving traffic if its based off a website?

say your running a website that people buy products from. how do you draw targeted traffic to that. should you follow Gs rules so you can seo at least a little bit or should you just do whatever it takes to get the traffic you want as quick as possible? would you expect a website to last long (and still get paid) with the latter method?
