Is there someone who might be able to explain a few things about adsense to me? I want to make sure I'm getting the most out of the setup. What I'm really interested in is how channels work, and placement of ads.

My current site is still under construction, but we got the bugs fixed for posting and everything is in working order for the time being. It can be found at www.its-loading.com

How do Adsense channels work?

channels helps if you want to know how a certain ad area is doing, or a site itself

channels are just for tracking so you can see what ad location or site is doing what. i'm lazy and just use URL channels so i can see what each site is doing, but you could do different channels for different locations you're testing to see which one does better.

best placement for the ads is really pretty dependent upon how your page is laid out
