Fahrenheit 7.0: Tougher, Faster, Rebuilt
by bysin@efnet
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Fahrenheit will compile on any linux distribution (redhat, slackware, debian, gentoo). On a system with 512 MB of ram and 1 GHz or more of processor speed, 10 threads and 80 socketsperproxy is optimal. Please dont set threads more than 20.
COMPILING
Simply type: gcc -o fahrenheit fahrenheit.c -lpthread -w
RUNING
./fahrenheit
or
./fahrenheit configutation-file.fhm
INSTRUCTIONS
Fahrenheit will run in any directory. The first step is to run it so it can create a web interface. From the web interface you can manage configuration files. Once the program is ran, open your web browser to http://the_host_of_this_machine:8080 (the default port is 8080, it can be changed later). On that site, click on the "Configuration" tab. The "Current configuration" displays the configuration you are actively editing. If the current configutation says "default", then there is no files loaded, and any changes made will not be perminant. To create a new configuration simply type in a filename under "Create configuration" and hit "Create". Go down the page and edit the text boxes avaliable. Anytime a text box is changed, simply click outside the text box and it'll automaticly register what you typed in. To save what you have changed, click on the "Save" button next to "Current configuration". If the "Current configuration" is "default", it cannot be saved. Anytime the program is ran again, the configutation file that you have created will show up under the "Avaliable configurations" list. Simply select the configuration you want to load, then click "Load". Or click "Delete" if you wish to delete it.
