I originally just sent this to YT but who knows, maybe some of you guys would find this kind of thing useful or you just may already know a lot about it and can post up more info on the realities/feasability of doing this kind of business.

Inspired by YT's need for $100.00 bill dispensing ATM machines and the fact that he has that wifi care barbershop/chicken place open up in the Springs.

I looked into this running atm machines thing about a year and a half ago. It came from a news article, there was a small group of organized crime type guys up in NYC who ran about fifty machines located in businesses, etc around an area of New York. They had modified their machines to cache the magnetic stripe info and pin numbers of each transaction and eventually got busted for emptying out peoples bank accounts but that doesn't matter. It got me looking into how these guys attained and ran their own machines as I had always thought it was banks that did that.

Hell no, banks do run machines but anyone can buy one and set up an account with a bank attached to it and run that fucker. Which means that there could be a dg atm business in which your machines kick out those Hundred dollar bills. I did look at it and if you have places to put them that have either the phone line or dedicated internet connection for the machine you're basically good to go. I am going to toss in some links for info about it. This Franklin site shows atm machines with a screen at the top pimping out internet based advertising. Looks pretty neat.

well, a huge reason im sure atm's only spit out 20's is because of the margins included. usually those lil pos atms you find at 7-11s have a max per transaction, usually 100 or 200 bucks. if you need more, then its another $2 to them. if you start handing out 100's at a time, it may cut into your profit margins. although, people would be more inclined to hit up the 100 bill ones (i know i would) and the machine would be able to fit more cash since 100s dont take up nearly as much room as 20s, so the refill time should work out to be the same. i unno, i dont see much investment capital needed into these either, as its basically the acct hookup for accessing bank accts and the machine itself. what a few k per maybe?

those are my random thoughts on the subject

They say the price of the machine should be between 3k to 5k or so. It all depends on what you need, can it be upgraded, options like can it sell tickets for concerts or take credit cards, etc...

I mentioned the $100s for you baller DG's out there. So, if you are rollin around in Co. Springs you could hit up YT's wifi spot and take out a wad of 100 dollar bills.

I haven't researched all of it, not by a long shot but that last link I posted seems to have the most info that makes sense. Like, when not to buy a machine and where it won't make a profit, etc...
