Newer affiliates?

How does one go about finding new affiliates before they're all hyped up and washed out?

I was thinking about doing a phonegangster campain - however it seems like it's a little too late for that sort of thing now.

I've yet too see any scratch from blogging, just a few cents here and there...but it's a learning process. So I figured I would try something else..

Any suggestions?

people are still making bundles of money in ringtones

i don't think offers really get "washed up". competition makes it more challenging for new people but if you can be creative in things like keyword selection, ad text, etc. you can still succeed

Phonegangster does well, and also low competition. Staying ahead of the niche curve is almost impossible, and when you can, you are only going to be able to stand alone for a short minute. Prob better to step your competition game up and get your ranks up to make some affiliates sales

New programs are pretty easy to find. I get a email every couple days from most of my CPA networks telling me of the new programs they have added. Also clickbank adds like 200 new products everyday or something crazy like that..

incentive dollars sounds like an awesome idea to me personally and it's on my list of things to pursue, but in my current spot it's like training wheels without a bike... i need to find sources of traffic first.

Phonegangster is on and off for me as of late. When no one else was bidding my keywords it was fucking awesome. I need to read the literature provided to me about Adwords and do more research and I'm sure I could make it more constant, but it looks to me like everyone who starts a campaign on here is more or less sharing the same keywords

on the account i just set up again cuz the other one got botched i only have 6 that are getting clicks

i might just go pay the $40 I owe on the old account and resurrect that one. This new one just isn't doing it. I thought I did the $50 free adwords for $5 deal but it got discontinued, however, even though I owe $40 for 1 month of words, the return on that $40 would still be ~475%.

What I found odd was that i set the account up in January and it basically didn't do anything. I kept making tiny adjustments but thought it was just my bad luck. Suddenly halfway through March something happened and it magically clicked on and i made $190 in 3 weeks till the adwords account went past due. This is from like a total of 30 minutes of work too. when i apply some research to it in a sec it'll take off again.

Since then I got $5 yesterday, but i've already spent $1.50 in clicks. iono. i got alot of learning to do about this. it's kinda fun.
