I have a startup company that does government contracts, and some aviation brokering. Some fucking gooks in china are trying to register domains under my company name, I own the .com , but they went to get the .ch . Where is a good cheap place to register all the country coded domains (.ru , .au , .in , .ca). Network solutions is chargin $9.00 a year just for the domain name & then another $12 for forwarding. I know my fellow DGs have that nack for being internet $$ making guru's so help me out here. Even if its not the cheapest, I'd pay $9.00 a year for the domain name & forwarding but not $21.00 per. I am going to buy all the ones I can so I figure thats around 30 domain names 21 x 30 = $630.00 , which is crazy. Help me out homies.

is there a specific reason it can't be done like normal, like just put in the DNS servers? or I even used to forward two of my domains to my main one but I never paid a dime for forwarding. I guess I just don't understand.

dont fret, its just some fucking money scam there runnin because my partner called like he was desperate for them. We got an email from some chinese webhosting company letting us know that someone tried to create mycompanyname.cn & .ch, which are business name is trademarked so we got the email asking if we wanted to dispute. So I explained to him why some people do this (piggybacking, scam site) and he freaked and wanted to buy all possible domains up. Thankfully its not coming out of the business acct, but I am still trying to save him some money he was ready to drop 3k on network solutions for it, until i stopped his gullable ass. I found some but I know people like Pad & MX and a few others know the game these people are trying to run, and I just wanted to find out where they suggest I purchase them from.

Like I said bitch tits godaddy is 9.99 for .com unless you type in the coupon code emma3(emma1-4 work try all of them) then its 6.99. Other country specific TLD's range in prices and at godaddy you can't even register close to all of them. Some countries require you to have someone that lives in the country in the whois.

smokey2k, this has nothing to do with the registrar. the country that the TLD is delegated to sets the price. you won't find any cheaper. i would go w/ moniker though.

the only reason you would pay for forwarding at go daddy is if your host limits the num of domains otherwise you are getting ripped off on forwarding
