I consider your crime worse than murder...I believe your conduct in putting into the hands of the Russians the A-Bomb years before our best scientists predicted Russia would perfect the bomb has already caused, in my opinion, the Communist aggression in Korea, with the resultant casualties exceeding 50,000 and who knows but that millions more of innocent people may pay the price of your treason. Indeed, by your betrayal you undoubtedly have altered the course of history to the disadvantage of our country. No one can say that we do not live in a constant state of tension. We have evidence of your treachery all around us every day for the civilian defense activities throughout the nation are aimed at preparing us for an atom bomb attack.

They had a public defender, they're lucky they weren't given aids and left on a small desolate island.

It is delicious copypasta. I just happened to be reading it and toggled back to DG when I saw this thread. I thought it kinda fit the theme.

Haha, sweet. What context were your reading it be quoted?
(I'm guessing you weren't going through manuscripts of famous 1950's court cases)

I was reading Wiki about espionage and clicked a link on the Rosenburgs and it was quoted in there.

I have the Brian Sezter Orchestra COVER of it. I don't remember who did the original.
My guess would be Dick Dale.

Monty Norman has been credited with writing the "James Bond Theme", and has received royalties since 1962. For Dr. No, the tune was arranged[1] by John Barry who would later go on to compose the soundtracks for eleven James Bond films. Courts have ruled twice that the theme was written by Monty Norman despite claims and testimony by Barry that he had actually written the theme. Norman has consequently won two libel actions against publishers for claiming that Barry wrote the theme, most recently against The Sunday Times in 2001. It is generally acknowledged that Barry came up with the arrangement used in Dr. No.
i hope one day
