Anyone got a line on an IP -> City database?

I'm lookin for a reasonably current DB (preferably mysql) of IP ranges to City.

Maxmind makes a good one but I don't wanna pay their price.

anyone know of a free one or a better priced one than maxmind?

no. I need the DB for a custom script Im writing.

maxmind does has a manual lookup that is free and a webservice that costs $20 / 50k.

what I want is a copy of a database.. maxmind pricing on that is
$250 for just the USA and then $61 per month to keep it current.

If I cant find anything Ill just use the webservice. prefer to host my own DBs though.
