    Talking NEED HELP!Rebooting my computer?

    I am trying to reset my computer so I am adminstrator and not a standard user.My cousing hacked into and i need to undo it.Anyone know how i can do that?

    pretty sure this is what I used when I reset windows PWs
    if so, it worked perfectly
    reset the password of selected account, logged in, made a new password to the account using command prompt, done

    Do you mean to change a password? If so you'll need a reset disk.

    If you just need to be the administrator all you have to do is run cmd as a administrator.
    Type "net user administrator /active:yes" without the quotes
    You should see something that said it was successful
    Log out and log back in as the admin
    When your finished doing what you need to do type "net user administrator /active:no" and log back in as a user.
    Hope this can help you.

    enter "net user administrator /active:yes" w/o spaces
    then click ok?
    then log out
    and log back in?

    You must didn't run it as a administrator. Go to the start menu type in cmd in the search and you should see the cmd icon in the menu. Right click it and select "run as administrator". Vista makes you do that for security. Type in the command above with the spaces and you should be good to go.

    I've always sworn by any of these 3 methods, all have worked for me in the past:
    Backtrack
    Cain
    L0phtcrack (because L0pht are made of win)
