Should people w/ bi-polar or schizofrenia smoke weed?

I was diagnosed w/ parinoid schizofrenia back in 1999. I was acting just like Jim Carey in the movie yes man. So when doctors would say "do you hear voices" i would say yes. I fucked up pretty bad cause now most of the doctors think I'm sicker than I am, except the one who actually listens. He changed my diagnosis to bi-polar.

When I smoke weed I get super parinoid even if I'm not around people to the point I can't even enjoy it. Then for the next week or two I don't want to be around people at all.

Reefer isn't good for me.

Have a few drinks to where you to the point of feeling warm & comfortable, then gradually smoke.
It should give you a relaxing buzz.

im not answering poll because this question needs to be answered soley by the person that was diagnosed.

some people just cant handle it and not in a bad way, it just fucks with them more. so if you can handle it, and you enjoy it, and it doesnt completely mind fuck you, sure, go for it.

but if its something that causes more problems than one would normally have then its not for you.

I used to be able to smoke weed whenever and be high wherever, it was no big deal for me. Then some shit went south in my life and lots of bad thing happened all within a month of each other, I got PTSD for a few months until I managed to live with it and it eventually went away. I can now smoke weed at home but not around people or in public, people just trip me out too much. The funny thing is I'm absolutely fine with psychedelics, weed just makes me too paranoid.
