Default Needs advice about Vid card & new monitor

Ok, so the bf's b-day is in March, which will give me enough time to get him a new monitor (flatscreen plz) and vid card that will then produce a better pic on the big screen.
I have no idea what vid card he has now, but he's been bitching that he wants a new one as well as a flat screen monitor, so any input would be appreciated.

    TIA.

    I <3 u all.

Grab Astra32 from www.astra32.com and install and run it on his PC, it'll tell you all the components. Look for the motherboard and the current graphics card.
