Has anyone been able to decrypt the wikil34ks insurance file that was released awhile ago? I have seen a youtube video that claims to have the key but A) It's confusing and B) I could not get it to work , tried many different combinations because I didn't know if there was a hidden meaning. I know it is possible to crack this code and I know there are quite a few people out there with advanced equipment (usual;ly custom and stuff that is definitely not available to the public in a retail form), so I have to think someone out there has cracked this.

Advanced cryptographic equipment means a cluster of PS3s nowadays. nbdjs. Nothing exotic is required for cryptography, just skills and computational power. Skills have to be earned/learned, and computational power has been a commodity since Sun introduced their grid rentals (actually since the 70's, but whatever.)

Yeah, I know. What I meant was that a few people out there have the computing power to do this all in one machine (quantum computing), and I am sure that one of them has popped this file out of curiosity by now. You really have to wonder if there is anything truly spectacular in this file. If there was I'd think they would use something like blowfish to encrypt it rather then AES-256.

For all we know, they could of used a combination of encryptions. For example, used XOR for the first "layer" then Blowfish for the second "layer" then rc4 for the final layer or something. I know for sure if I where to have something that "sensitive" I would have multiple encryptions on it. That's what I do with all my mailers, every single thing is encrypted with multiple layers.

Like previously stated it was probably encrypted multiple times. Bet there's some serious dirt in 'em though.

i think you have to wait for a while to get the crack. i have not yet seen the cracked version. will inform you if i get one.

I have heard several stories of some of the stuff in it, obviously I can't confirm anything. I have heard there is hard evidence of war propaganda and docs on what's really the true purpose of the war in the middle east. Info on BOA. and also heard there may be docs on modern UFO technology used by the military etc. But like I said, I have no way to confirm or deny this. Probably nothing I would be surprised by anyways.
