    If I wanted to send out an email to 20k people, as a one time thing, what would be the best solution?

    Mailing service, my own server, etc... ?

    Someone here mentioned Sendgrid.com a while ago, I haven't tested them out but if they deliver what they promise it sounds right up your alley
