Are you taking advantage of pinterest?

Anyone attempt to generate any real traffic with it?

Care to share anything you've found out?

Keyword wise - are you finding it is more about the domain it is being linked from? IE having good keywords in the domain name or the image name its self?

Or is it more important to have it on a well named "board"?

Keywords within your description of the picture?


Also anyone figure a way to track how many times your picture is being loaded other than just raw server logs?

OP is talking about actually using Pinterest as a traffic source, and yes OP it rocks, do some more testing on the network and you'll be on your way.

yea you're absolutely right.. but I had a better twist to it and i wasn't using a content locker.. which gave me xxx.00 /day ...sadly it died on the 4th day of me using it, but im still getting a good amount from it still..

Uploading countless of popular pics linking to offer, baffles me, I dont see how this will work as I tried it already.. am I missing anything..

when you uploaded what did you use for the domain? Was it relative to your picture? The description - was it copy and paste from the popular?

just copy and paste to test how many people would repin it, because first I was stunned how I just picked up a reddit picture, uploaded in there and people started repinning. im like "ohlolfreetraffic".
To use it in a legit way you just do the same thing but attached to your domain.
I think the only few things that make people wanna click the image to go to the source is RECIPES.

all of my family uses it for recipes - so i was going to go that route.

i wouldn't think cpa would work best for this, but clickbank would.. if the niche was recipes..

In order for them to get directed to your domain after clicking the picture, first you have to copy the "popular" pic(s) from pinterest. Then upload them to your domain. Then from your domain, use the "pin it" button and it will pin to your boards on pinterest...

So when people finally re-pins your pics and click on them, they will be directed to the source where the pic actually came from..

Outline ex:

scrape popular pic (Lil Wayne.jpg) from pinterest => upload to www.free-mp3s.com => pin (Lil Wayne.jpg) from domain => ??? get re pins / likes

user: clicks (Lil Wayne.jpg) => redirected to www.free-mp3s.com

now at this point, you can do different things...

1.Throw up a content locker
2.301 redirect to a ringtone offer (or somewhere else according to your niche)

Haven't tried this yet, but that's basically what everyone is doing.. It just baffles me that someone would actually fill out an offer after clicking on a picture...

Yes this will get you traffic no doubt about it, but idk.. If i had a bot i would try it out.. but doing this manually wont be worth my time..

how can I take advantage of that JS? I saw it in pastebin but had no idea how to take advantage, it just selects all the images in a page but you still have to pin them one by one manually

Recipe site i'd be more interesting in building an opt-in list with and then once i see something come up on my fav network like "Win A Rachel Ray Kitchen Pack!" that would be the perfect thing to send out.

For a 'little bit easier' theres chrome extenions that im using, just one click pin. I want something to select and pin them all images with a custom description now this be moneehs.

There are a couple of bots on BHW - one to follow and one to like. Take advantage of it while Pinterest still doesn't have limits.
