    thought it had kick-ass visuals, very little in engaging story/too many plot-holes

    has anyone figured out why the engineer at the beginning iced himself?

    noomi rapace looks like she could dock a meat stick quite well

    it was good IMO. I don't have incredibly high expectations for movies but the graphics were cool, especially the 3D map parts, and the story was cool

    the engineer at the beginning iced himself to put life on that planet (could be earth or could not be since they dont say)

    I've read so much shit about it since i've seen it regarding Jesus being an engineer coming back to check on the world and since the romans killed jesus thats why they made the black goo to come annihilate everyone on earth but that never got off the ground because they were all infected on that planet until the humans showed up and found one still alive.

    that was my first guess tispe, with jesus & her cross being so fervently referenced through-out

    you know there's going to be a trilogy & they will try to milk it for all it's worth, so i was guessing it was to create an atmosphere to harbor life ie. the greatest sacrifice etc. and that it would be related to jesus
