my cell phone wont turn on

the center compartment little thing in my car like a little deep square where i can miscellaneous things, well it was some how flooded with Dr Pepper and i forgot about this and it was dark and i put my cell in it and now it wont turn on WHAT DO I DO

take it apart if you can, try cleaning it as best you can without doin more damage, try to let it air out and dry. Make sure you clean everything, take out the battery, sim card if there is one, etc. In my past experiences this has about a 40% rate of success.

ive dunked my cell phone completely in water before, if you dry it out and dont turn it on for a week, it should start workin again...hopefully

Since the dr. pepper is sticky from the sugar. Take it apart and lightly clean it w/ a damp towel. And then let it dry. Like they said. I dropped my cell phone into my hot tub before, it went all retarded for a few hours until it dried off then worked fine. Same thing w/ dr. pepper but since dr. pepper has sugar and is sticky it could cause prolonged problems so clean it w/ a very lightly damp rag.

Edit: I didn't actually drop it in, it got splashed. So it only took a few hours to dry off and work normal again.

sugar will do alot more damage though, it'll short out the circuits inside

try opening it up and wiping everything clean and dry it thoroughly it might be recoverable

That's what I was saying. The sugar will fuck things up worse than it just getting wet and then drying. That's why I was saying to use a damp towel and try to wipe it clean so it's just wet and not sticky anymore. THEN let it dry.

if you have any sort of insurance or warranty-- open the phone up and remove the sensor stickers (they should be red at this point) and take it to em---- without removing the sticker it shows the damage and they wont do anything about it
