i have a div thats position: fixed; but it overlays content on the page. i need to click through the div to click a link or whatever thats behind the fixed div. CANT DOING IT WONT CLICK THROUGH EVEN Z-INDEX

i can move it back out of the way but it looks cooler ontop

Just use some javascript on the z-index'd div, like so

i altered the nav to slide out when hovered anyway, so it moves out of the way on its own

because then the point of it staying on the page while you scroll is lost.

i might do an absolute then use javascript to tween it.
