It would be a little bit difficult to build a home theater pc at work. We're locked down for most stuff, don't even have priveledges on the pc's here. It blows when firefox tries to update and asks for an admin account pw.
So, for a lot of the streaming media we're screwed no matter what because we can't load codecs or alternate media players.
Trying to find a stream is a last ditch effort as our manager refused to let our techs set up a feed for us. He is of course at home and will probably catch the game on a home theater system with full surround sound and if hi def.

htpc's are for homes not work. otherwise they'd be called wtpc not htpc. that way you can see it when you get home.

It probably wouldn't matter a lot. He is one of those guys whos life revolves around sports. I was giving him some training a few weeks ago and couldn't get the guy to concentrate. Led to an arguement and I asked him what his priorities were in regards to work. This asshole told me that if he won the lottery he would spend his life watching sports or going to games.
