Much better herustics, especially when applied to multiple messages. I'll have a full write-up available tomorrow.

You need the brightmail API, it will make life much easier for you. AOL is using brightmail and postini

Soon spam will be dead someone is working on a real deal A.I. spam filter, no bayesian garbage, put's it to shame, i seen a demo of it in hong kong a few months back shit uses fuzzy logic + natural language processor and it's all linked to a network of users sort of like a spamhaus. Future of spam doesn't look good.

Then theres mr bill gates who's trying to re-write the whole entire protocol, i foresee within the next 5 yrs spam will be totally dead or contained just like viruses are contained today. It's sad, spam was a great g.marketing tactic until it was abused, shit costed you nothing all you needed was a few computers 4mbps connection and you could reach hundreds of millions of people with like 90% delivery rate....lol

Now i bet your lucky if u hit 40%

If you didn't bank on spam 5 yrs ago now's not the time.

As long as its cheaper to send millions of mail and get a few thousand clicks than it is to buy the traffic, then bulking will always be profitable. Like any market which becomes established and saturated, the returns won't be fucking dynamite, but there still will be money there. These n00bs who think they can get in the business with a list and a mailer will be sorely disappointed, but there are always ways to make money.

With all the anti-advertising measures deployed across all facets of the internet anymore, blanket coverage will only be effective against people who never update their software, and/or use shitty providers. The future of advertising in general will be built on a viral strategy, and you'll see the successful publishers and bulkers of today with their own affiliate programs tomorrow, offering several tiers beneath themselves, even if they too are an affiliate under someone else's sponsorship.

There never was anything magical and special about mail. Its merely been the cheapest and easiest way to reach people for years, and soon, it will be replaced with new tactics to reach a willing audience.

How would having brightmail API help any? There is more to the filter than brightmail, to think otherwise you're living proof of a moron. I would say the brightmail API would help you out less than 1%, they have rewritten the thing so much it doesn't even look like the original thing anymore.
