Yep...the city puts out these huge dumpsters so you can get rid of appliances, anything...

I usually end up dumping the kids' yard toys that looked fun but got old pretty quick.

I wish our city did that. My trashcan is gonna be full and it doesn't get picked up until Thursday. I also am too lazy to wash dishes. So I just went out and bought all new dishes and pans so I can just throw away the dirty ones rofl.

Just go do it and once you're done you'll be impressed with yourself and you'll have a lot of time to do other things. Whenever I procrastinate, I always think of the things I'm procrastinating on doing, which motivates me to get things done.

I just finished re-carpeting and painting my entire house last weekend. It took a long time, but once I was finished I was amazed, because I did it all in about 3 days.

my entire room is spotless, but my desk is full of random junk.
packets, blank cds, usb drives, ipod, tv remote, two staplers (very important), blackberry, routers, a modded router, various circuits/volt batteries/chips, printer, soda cans, modems, speakers, lcds, various writing utensils, books, books, books, SNAIL MAIL (wtf), laptop, taken apart ps2, assembly cord, and a bunch of ethernet wires.

i can never permanently clean my desk up :\ if i do, its even messier the next week.

Lol, a lot of times I list my "Spring Cleaning" on E-Bay rather than toss it all out. You'd be surprised what people will pay for a bunch of useless shit that I don't need anymore. Got 300 bucks for a toolbox full of old Bow hunting shit. Stuff like 100 grain broadheads from the 70's (I use 100 grain NAP Crossfires and Sidewinders now), 2 sticks of glue, and some old school fletchings. Useless stuff that I wouldn't use anymore.
