    Default Question for designers.

    In the career that I am going into it is very helpful to have the skills to be able to make a layout for a company or a logo, or something along those lines. What are some simple software suggestions for doing this?

    photoshop is all you need.

    if you're not very familiar with code, adobe/macromedia dreamweaver cs+ is awesome for WYSIWYG coding/designing of sites...

    but as far as logos/graphics, photoshop/illustrator are it.

    if you want to OD, use those. i would personally just stick with photoshop/dreamweaver if you want to learn faster and put up a website faster..

    flash is tough for me and it normally takes people a while before making something good

    Check lynda.com torrents for some good tuts on them softwares.
