Emo is some super soft shit, example bands would be Modest Mouse or Built to Spill, possibly even Pinback. And I personally think some of these bands are really good, especially when you're trying to relax.

I was making a generalization of the emo culture. Angst and all that. Linkin Park doesn't sound like most emo music but their lyrics fall into the same category.
