I never had any problems running anything on vista.

I ran aim 5.2 w/ deadaim on vista w/o any complications at all. I musta just beeen uber leet I guess.

Who the hell runs aim anymore with all the vulns? Anyways, if it's giving you problems just right click the exe and go to compatibility and check the box and change it to run with xp compatibility. my new aim 6.8 works flawlessly and my vista works flawlessly..........hmm why is that? sounds like we have a case of another user who does not know how to work their own operating system seen it a ton of times and then they blame windows for their lack of education.......aka go buy mac if u cannot work in windows or know how to use it and what it requires to run properly

AKA running a ported aim with no registry ties aka copy the aim folder, and vista only lets it work like 30 % of the time, and you cant clone, its not an end user error, windows vista isn't compatible with every XP program, come on you know that. So don't make stupid responses if someone asks for help they didnt ask for you to give you two cents on their computer knowledge. jackass

and then if you try to copy it over and have dep enabled which for some reason the new sp1 auto enables. You have to go add it to the excluded list.

I just downloaded and installed pidgeon and I like it... Is there a way to change the size of fonts/icons on the buddylist? I don't like the bigass status icons. Can you make those smaller so it lists more people on the viewable buddylist.
