You could be good, but awesome is a whole different story.

85 would get you a rotation pitching spot on most HS teams.
I threw 87 until I hit age 19. I met with a pitching coach from the Pirates during a seminar. He tinkered with my mechanics and had me throwing 93 a week later. Little things make a big difference.

I have no hate for a die hard baseball fan or player.
Good luck if you choose to persue it.

baseball is an eat/sleep/breathe type thing.
Its not a sport, its a lifestyle.

BTW- I got signed by a team up here in PA. Its a Short Season A team from the NY Penn league. I have to clear everything, but will most likely not play this season. If I do, I wont start. Bullpen for the rest of the year unless I play 3rd in a pinch.
