    Default gaining ip address

    i was wondering if anyone can show me how to get someones ip address while talking to them on AIM..maybe a link i give them can get it to me? thanks

    i tried the netstat..but i was having trouble finding it in the cmd area...what is your way to do it..maybe the way i did it was shit

    Yeah, if they use AIM 5.9 then grab it through a program called ecNuntius.

    If they don't then make them go to an ip grabber link.

    start>run>cmd

    type in netstat -a

    then be like

    "ayo check out this pic of my sister i took when she was getting out of the shower"

    then direct connect to that douchebag and hit enter on your cmd prompt once it connects and look for an ip:port combo that isn't something you're connected to via http etc

    actually about 2 years ago america online decided to invade our privacy a little more so direct connections now go through a proxy (to log direct connections) so netstat won't show you the directly connected person's IP address, it'll be an AOL IP address, don't be fooled.
