Textbook Torrents...
makes a lot of sense, no?
greetings, fellow internet!Textbook Torrents...
makes a lot of sense, no?
what about the courses that need you to bring the book into class every so often? rofl @ a printed out 600 page PDF file in a custom binder
YEAH NIGGA MY TEXTBOOK STAY CUSTOMIZED, WHAT OF IT
but yeah its a tight idea imho
Still cheaper than buying most of them sumbitches.
“I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.”
J. Robert Oppenheimer
"It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees."
Zapata
well i was thinking you could set up a service on the site where you pay a small fee... maybe $15-20 and i could print the book out and put it inside a book cover
the second money becomes involved for the stolen physical property is where things get tough though.. keep it free and HEAVILY ad supported
unless you make them sign some waiver saying they already own the book, they're just paying you for an extra copy
yeah the legality issues are a bitch, maybe i could just write a guide on how to glue the printed pages on the back of a book cover or something o_O
I got like 25 fucking textbooks now they are out dated and worthless I wish I sold them off when I could have.
Also, fuck a torrent yo. Think of something brand new that nobody has created.
That's what I got right now. It took me about 3 years of sifting through idea after idea but I finally got it. That shit is hush hush though.
i got plenty of new ideas like that too, but i don't like posting them on here for obvious reasons :X
i'll give you one example though (of an idea i never plan to develop)...
a call forwarding service where you can keep all your old numbers and when someone calls one of those numbers it'll redirect to the new number so you can keep in contact with them indefinitely
set up a yearly fee for that service and you'll be swimming in bank
probably 50% of college kids have thought about the idea with the textbooks js
I need this asap
Sure, everyone has thought about it, but there's no good community for it right now. Students would swarm to it, honestly. These days with tablets and whatnot, you can just take that shit to class for your textbook. I've seen plenty of classes that "require" a text, but none that come by and check.
Only issue you run into is classes that require the media with the new books. Biggest problem in the used college text market today, imo.
