I have a question about proxies.

I used to use a proxy in school all the time so I could check email, chat on AIM, etc.

I tried using several proxies lately and none of them seem to work. The biggest problem I seem to have is slowed connection, or even just complete termination of the connection.

AIM me or whatever if you feel like helping me out.

Also, feel free to flame me or w/e you faggots have to do because I don't know about this.

So basically when you go through another server to get to your content instead of going directly its slower? Hrmm, seems like the tubes might be clogged.

proxies will naturally be slow, because the data is transferred from one location to the proxy and then to you. also public proxies are generally high trafficked so connection may be bogged down as bandwidth would be eaten up
