When every human chooses to stop breeding, Earth's biosphere will be allowed to return to its former glory, and all remaining creatures will be free to live, die, evolve (if they believe in evolution), and will perhaps pass away, as so many of Nature's "experiments" have done throughout the eons.

We need targeted human obsolescence here. Imagine if we first removed all of the people who exist only by being parasites upon the rest of us. The welfare staties. Then we take a two pronged approach to reducing the human population. We pursue highly advanced technology and innovation so that we can support ourselves at a high standard of living while at the same time we phase out those who cannot contribute.

We will have to pursue this in space though, when we have colonies on the moon and mars you can bet that no-one will be spending money to send up retards, druggies, people existing on welfare handouts.

I agree with all that. Your first post says they want everyone to stop breeding. This is a much slower process than your above post which calls for immediate "termination".

Besides all that, I think your post above is more in line with getting rid of the undesirables for the benefit of those of us who do our part in society. The first post deals more with ridding "mother earth" of all of the humans so that "she" can go on living forever (all humans being undersirable to "her"). Well, as far as this hippie movement goes and their plan to stop breeding I'm all for it as this makes our work easier. If they take themselves out so politely maybe they can convince others to do the same. It's a proven fact through all of human history, supported by written history, archaeologic discovery and scientific study that as a societies standard of living goes up they produce fewer offspring.

Basically, if you have a wonderful life then you don't want a bunch of damned squalling babies fucking it up for you. So if we get the downtrodden masses to work hard, raise their own standards via education, indoctrination, propaganda, etc... they will stop overbreeding.

Well, obviously this will just be the first step in the development of a utopian society so the money will come from donations from people who believe in the cause.

We'll have to get our own people into public office too so they can massage the system from the inside. Once we get it rolling we will push advanced technology and sustainable living but with the twist of also working human social systems and interpersonal systems so that it all is harmonious and profitable. We will sell advanced high tech products, replace defunct systems with new ones.

Biotech will also have to be explored as well as all of the medical advancements. Eventually we will outcompete and dominate the entire world. I'm sure there will be rebels and whatnot but we need them also to keep a little fear in the system so that once we have it good we'll know just how awesome it is.

Also, we'll need our own special ops types to keep the rebels at bay.
